What we believe
The attention economy is the most sophisticated behavior-modification system ever built. It shapes what billions of people think, feel, and want — mostly in service of someone else’s engagement metrics. Most people never chose their inner narrative. It was handed to them by their feed.
We think AI can do something better. Not capture attention — direct it. Not optimize behavior for someone else’s benefit — develop it for your own.
The inner stack is the set of beliefs, narratives, and mental habits running underneath everything you do. It shapes your decisions, your relationships, how you respond under pressure, what you think you’re capable of. Most people inherited theirs. We’re building tools to help people choose it deliberately.
That’s what AI for good looks like to us: technology that returns agency to the person using it. Neuralingual is the first product built on that premise. There’s more coming.
How it started
Dave Remy has been practicing affirmations since 1985 — cassette tapes, then CDs, then YouTube videos with stock music and someone else’s words. For 40 years, the format never evolved. He always wanted something personal: his situation, his language, a voice that worked for him, a pace that fit his day.
He’s a software engineer. The pattern has always been the same: find something that doesn’t work as well as it should, build the version he wants to use, and see if others want it too. Neuralingual started as a prototype in late 2024. He was the only user for months.
He uses it daily. Multiple playlists. Pickleball performance. Identity-level practice. Sleep. The 3am worry that shows up uninvited. It’s not something made for other people that he also happens to use. It’s something made for himself that turned out to work for other people too.
He builds it with an AI agent team — a real system of specialized agents handling engineering, marketing, customer success, and research. One person building something that used to require a team, using the tools that now make that possible. The product is also the proof of concept for what Inner Stack Labs believes about AI.
How we build
Product-first. If the product doesn’t deliver, no amount of marketing fixes it. The product earns attention or it doesn’t.
Fair pricing. One plan, full access. No feature gating, no artificial scarcity. Credits are priced the same whether you buy them through a subscription or a pack.
